WHO: All Romney’s ready for fun
WHAT: 2013 Romney Reunion – as a throw back to favorite reunions past we will be CAMPING!
WHEN: Tentatively scheduled for the last weekend in June – Fri. June 28th – Sun. June 30th (It will be able to be officially scheduled in January)
WHERE: Hobble Creek Canyon in Springville, Utah
WHY: To come have a blast together as we show our “True Colors” (Reunion Theme!)
HOW: Bring yourself and your camping gear, and we will be providing all meals, activities, games, etc.
*Some of you might wonder how we will camp AND have fun (this is coming for the biggest non-camper of all). Not to worry – this is an amazing setting! It is all grass and very clean, which is great for young children to be able to run around without getting dirty (think more of camping on a golf course). There are bathrooms, running water and electricity. It will be SO much fun to be spending time together in such a beautiful spot of nature, while having basic modern conveniences. (We really, really, really want everyone to camp with us because we think we miss out on a lot when we stay in different places. However, we understand that some people might have different circumstances, so there is a Best Western hotel 10 minutes away that you are welcome to stay at your own expense if necessary.)
** We would like to have a Team Captain from each family – Strattons, Romneys, Jacksons, Farnsworths, and Garvins - that way we can coordinate certain things with them for each family group rather than each individual person. Please discuss amongst your families, and let us know who your family captain will be as soon as possible!
